OUR STORY
The heart behind the Mission
Healing the Breach Ministries didn't start as an idea-it started from lived experience, conviction, and a calling that wouldn't go away.
For Jaberi Johnson, this work is personal.
He grew up understanding both the strength and the struggles that exist within communities-seeing firsthand how easily people can be overlooked, underserved, or written off. But this wasn’t something he observed from a distance-it was something he lived around every day. Through the example set by
his parents, he witnessed what it meant to truly serve.
He watched them pour into young people, show up for families in need, and walk into jail environments to reach individuals that society had often given up on.
Those moments left a mark. They showed him that no one is beyond reach. That real impact requires presence, consistency, and compassion. He saw how a conversation, a meal, or simply showing up could restore hope in someone who felt forgotten. That foundation didn’t just inspire him-it shaped him. And today, that same spirit of service lives through the work he leads, driving a mission that refuses to overlook people and is committed to meeting them exactly where they are.
This isn’t just a program.
It’s a mission. It’s a responsibility. It’s a legacy .
